Hi, I’m Sinead.
Movement has shaped my life for as long as I can remember. From dance and yoga to the classical Pilates method, my approach is rooted in the belief that intelligent movement builds strength, confidence, and a body that moves with ease for life.
My Approach
My passion for movement began in the performing arts. With a background in dance and theatre, I developed an early appreciation for strength, control, balance and expression through movement. That passion naturally led me to yoga, where I discovered the connection between breath, awareness and mindful movement, before ultimately finding my home in the classical Pilates method.
Today, I teach with a deep respect for Joseph Pilates' original work, believing that intelligent movement has the power to transform not only the body, but the way we move through life. Every session is tailored to the individual, combining precision, flow and purposeful movement to help you build strength, improve mobility and move with greater ease and confidence.
I am comprehensively trained in Classical Pilates and continue to study with leading second-generation teachers and educators, ensuring my teaching remains rooted in the authenticity and integrity of the original method while continually evolving through lifelong learning.
At The Method Studio, you'll find a calm, welcoming space where movement is approached with curiosity, enthusiasm and care. Whether you're completely new to Pilates, recovering from injury, or looking to refine an established practice, my goal is to help you discover a stronger, more balanced body—one that supports you both inside and outside the studio.
I believe movement should be approached with enthusiasm, joy and gratitude. As Joseph Pilates said, "Physical fitness is the first requisite of happiness." My aim is to help every client experience the confidence, vitality and freedom that thoughtful movement can bring.
